Dave Kopel on Bill O'Reilly

Posted by David Hardy · 6 June 2007 10:35 AM

Wasn't able to watch it, but apparently O'Reilly made the mistake of taking on a trial lawyer, lost it, and went into ranting. Cliff Kincaid reports at Accuracy in Media.

I read Kopel's column, then I watch Kopel's appearance on O'Reilly.

O'Reilly worse than lost it. He made an ass out of himself taking on someone who was better informed than he was, who knew he was distorting facts.

Kopel [...] thinks conservatives should keep the conservative media honest.

good idea. set conservatives to a Sisyphean task so they won't have time to mess with the rest of us. :^P

O'Reilly doesn't really impress me as an information source. Ditto for the MSM. Consequently, I don’t watch much network TV anymore. One should stick to the Blogs for information. At least there is more debate on the issues and the truth eventually emerges. Keep your mind sharp.
