GeorgiaCarry.org gets good press for CCW
Video link here.
It's a lesson in how to win PR battles. (1) A local group will attract more and more favorable media interest than a national group can and (2) if you actually work with reporters, they may just like it.

Good coverage, yes.
But I am always disappointed in the use of "gun puns" in stories like that. And in this case, one of them was particularly bad.
"Lisenced gun carriers now taking aim at President Barack Obama." "A very controversial topic" indeed.

Excellent story.
I sent a short email to the journalist thanking her for the story - the positive feedback helps as well.

This was a great story and the GCO members there and myself had a great time. The reporter and her cameraman had a great time...so much so that I received a call the next day from one of the news anchors asking if I would take the time to teach her to shoot as well. I think if more folks take the time to do something like this the more media contacts will sway to ourside of the fence. Take an Anti to the range folks...you might just clear the range with a new 2A supporter!

This is bar none, one of the greatest organizations in Georgia, Ed Stone and John Monroe (aka The Hammer) have restored a tremendous amount of rights to Georgia gun owners.
